The Six Trait
Writing Model is a structure for teaching and assessing student writing
that has been adopted throughout the United States. Nebraska
assesses student writing across the curriculum and expects students to
exhibit Six Trait criteria in all formal writing assignments. State
testing of student writing skills is conducted at fourth, eighth and
eleventh grades. |
