Chapter 10, Reading and Viewing in the Middle Grades is about teaching middle level students to read and reading in the content areas.  In the Fast Track Program, you are required to complete an entire course on these topics, therefore, you are not required to read Chapter 10 for this course. 

HOWEVER, there is certainly information that will be of value to you as teachers.  I do recommend that you read it for your own enrichment.
