Responsibilities of presenter/leaders:
- Provide seminar members with copies of research article
one class period prior to presentation
- Guide discussion of the article and the text chapter topic
- Listen and note ideas and evaluations of members
- Guide discussion to present and cover all sides of issue
- Conduct an assessment of student understanding of chapter content
- Summarize the discussion
Responsibilities of seminar members:
- Read article provided
- Read text chapter before class period.
- Form opinions and evaluations of article
- Actively participate in discussion
- Bring and share any material you have encountered on the topic
